By using MorningRead you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.
1. The service
MorningRead recommends one research paper per day based on your interests and can generate AI-assisted summaries and answer questions about a paper. Recommendations and AI output are provided for convenience and may contain errors; they are not professional, medical, or legal advice. Always verify against the original paper.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break security or rate limits, no scraping at scale, and no reselling AI output as your own original research without verification.
4. AI keys and third-party content
If you supply your own AI provider API key, you are responsible for its usage and costs, and you authorize us to use it solely to fulfil your requests. Article metadata and full text come from third-party sources (PubMed, Europe PMC, OpenAlex, publishers) under their respective terms.
5. Subscriptions & payments
Paid features, where offered, are billed through the App Store (iOS) or our payment processor (web). Subscriptions renew until cancelled; manage or cancel them in your store account or billing portal. Statutory withdrawal/refund rights apply.
6. Availability & changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but provide the service “as is” without warranties, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MorningRead is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated summaries.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
