How does the daily paper get picked?
Every night we match new PubMed and preprint papers against your topics and journals, then pick the single best fit. You get one paper per morning; no feeds, no infinite scroll.
Where do the summaries come from?
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, summaries and answers are generated on your device and never leave it. On other devices, MorningRead uses a fast free cloud model. You can change the engine in Profile, then AI model.
I am not getting the daily notification.
Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings for MorningRead, and that your delivery time and quiet weekends settings in the app match what you expect. Reinstalling the app re-registers the notification.
How do I change my topics or delivery time?
In the app: Profile, then Interests or Delivery time. On the web: Settings.
How do I export my data?
In the app: Profile, then Export my data. This downloads a JSON file with your profile, preferences, and reading history.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile, then Delete account. This permanently removes your account, reading history, and saved papers. It cannot be undone.
